At a glance

In brief: the creator guide

The creator guide shows you how to set up your own storefront for product recommendations on wyrld: log in, set up your profile, add products from more than 90,000 partner shops, upload your own images, sort them, put your storefront link in your bio and label your posts as advertising.

Your storefront is live right after sign-up and appears in the creator overview once the wyrld team has reviewed your profile. You earn per click (CPC), per sale (CPA) or both, depending on the shop; earnings are settled at the beginning of the following month by self-billing credit note. wyrld is free for creators.

Go to wyrld.de/login and sign in with your credentials. No account yet? Register here.

Forgot your password? The login page has a link for it (“Forgot password?”). You get an email and set a new one.

2

Your dashboard

After logging in you’ll land on your creator dashboard. Everything is in one place: profile, products, statistics and your billing (“Billing”).

The figures at the top show your profile views, product views and your estimated commission so far.

3

Set up your profile

Set up your profile first. It’s the page your community sees.

  • Upload a profile picture
  • Write a short bio
  • Link your social media channels
  • Choose your favourite brands and how you want to be paid

Your storefront is live at its own address right after sign-up. It appears in the creator overview once we have reviewed your profile.

4

Find products

There are two ways to add products to your storefront:

  • Product search: the fastest way. Type a term (“oversized hoodie”), tap the product, done. You pick brands from the drop-down.
  • Paste a product link if a product isn’t in the catalogue. Copy the link from the shop (e.g. Zara, H&M) and paste it below.

Can’t find it? Report the product via “Can’t find your product?” and we’ll look into adding it.

5

Your own product images

You are not tied to the shop’s images. In “Your products”, tap a product and open “Own images”.

  • Upload your own images: up to five per product, for example your own photos instead of the standard picture
  • Hide shop images: only in your storefront; other creators still see them
  • Set the order: drag the images the way you want them
The first image is your cover image. It appears on the product page and on the tile in your storefront. If your own image doesn’t show there, a shop image is usually still in front of it. Drag yours to the front or hide the shop image.
6

Sorting & collections

Once products are in your storefront, it’s time for fine-tuning. The “Your products” tab shows everything in a table: image, name, brand, price, views, clicks, commission, sales and collection.

  • Order: by dragging or with the arrows next to the position
  • Sort: by price or name, right next to the search
  • Collections: group products, e.g. “Winter favourites”

On your phone each product appears as a card, with views, clicks, commission, sales and collection underneath. On a laptop you see everything in one table.

7

Share your link and get started

Put your profile link in your bio and show your community your product highlights.

You earn with your storefront wherever you share it: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or anywhere else. Depending on the partner shop, you are paid for the click, the sale or both. Your dashboard shows what has come in.

8

Label your posts as advertising

Your wyrld link is an affiliate link: you earn from it, on clicks, sales or both depending on the shop. So posts in which you share it or show products from your shop count as advertising. For audiences in Germany, the German media authorities recommend one clear word right at the start: “Werbung” or “Anzeige”. Abbreviations such as “ad” and phrases such as “sponsored by” are not enough.

  • Stories: “Werbung” on every slide that shows your link or a product.
  • Reels, TikTok, YouTube: if the product is the focus, show “Werbung” clearly in the video throughout, and use it as the first word of the description.
  • Image posts: “Werbung” or “Anzeige” as the first word of the caption.
  • Link in bio: an asterisk on the link with a short sentence right next to it, for example “My shop*” and “*Affiliate links: I earn on clicks and purchases, your price stays the same.”

Based on the German media authorities’ guide “Werbekennzeichnung bei Online-Medien”, as of May 2025 (PDF). You are responsible for labelling your posts yourself; if in doubt, ask a lawyer.

How do I add a product that is not in the catalogue?

Copy the product link from a partner shop and paste it in the product search under “Can’t find your product?”. wyrld checks the product, looks for the same item in the other partner shops and adds it where possible.
