wyrld, LTK, Stylink or Amazon? The comparison for creators.
As a creator, you have six common ways to earn from product recommendations today: a storefront on wyrld, the creator app LTK, the link service Stylink, individual affiliate links from partner programmes, a link-in-bio page or an Amazon storefront. They differ in how many shops you reach, whether the click, the sale or both are paid, whether you write invoices yourself or receive a self-billing credit note, whether your own agency can work with you, and whether your community can compare prices.
About this comparison: written by wyrld GmbH, Hamburg. wyrld is one of the options compared here. If something is out of date or wrong, email us at info@wyrld.de and we will correct it.
Why wyrld
This is where wyrld comes out ahead. Each point names the routes from the table below that it is compared with.
- Prices from several shops side by side For each product, your community sees the offers wyrld finds in its partner shops, with prices. With Stylink and individual affiliate links each link leads to one shop, an Amazon storefront shows only Amazon, and LTK’s FAQ does not mention a multi-shop price comparison.
- Click or sale: wyrld has both LTK and Amazon say on their own pages that they pay on sales, and Stylink’s terms say it pays for clicks only. On wyrld some shops pay for the click, others pay commission on the sale, and some pay both.
- 90,000+ partner shops, one account LTK puts its retailers at around 7,000, Stylink its partner shops at more than 1,100. For individual affiliate links you sign up with every network separately.
- Credit notes for small businesses too Every month you get a self-billing credit note, so you never write an invoice. According to its terms, Stylink issues credit notes only to VAT-registered business accounts with a German VAT ID.
- Your agency works on your storefront with you It has its own dashboard, maintains products and profile with you and sees your numbers. According to its terms, only the creator may use a Stylink account, and LTK’s FAQ does not mention access for your agency.
- No minimum follower count Your storefront is live as soon as you sign up. In Germany LTK requires at least 5,000 followers, and for social media pages Amazon’s affiliate programme usually asks for at least 500 organic followers or likes.
Like LTK and Stylink, wyrld is free for creators. Sources for the other providers are at the end of this page.
The six routes at a glance.
| Criterion | wyrld | LTK | Stylink | Direct affiliate links | Link-in-bio page | Amazon storefront |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | Your own storefront with your products, images and collections | App with your own LTK shop for your posts and products | “Linkmaker” for recommendation links, plus “Stylist”: a profile page with your link collections | Single links from a network or a shop’s affiliate programme | A page with a list of links | Your own page on Amazon in the Amazon Influencer Program |
| Access | No minimum follower count. Your storefront is live as soon as you sign up; it joins the creator overview after a review by the wyrld team, and the homepage shows a selection of reviewed creators. wyrld takes a storefront down for breaches of the code of conduct in the creator terms (§ 9) | Application; in Germany at least 5,000 followers | Open registration, regardless of follower count | Sign-up per network or programme, often with review | Open registration | Sign-up with review by Amazon. For the affiliate programme Amazon asks for at least three sales in the first 180 days and, for social media pages, usually at least 500 organic followers or likes |
| Product range | 90,000+ partner shops, over a billion products, Amazon included | According to LTK, around 7,000 retailers and 1 million brands, Amazon included | More than 1,100 partner shops | The shops of the respective network or programme | Whatever you link yourself | Only products available on Amazon |
| Price comparison for your community | Yes. wyrld looks for each product across its partner shops and shows the offers it finds side by side, with prices | One link per product and retailer; LTK’s FAQ does not mention a multi-shop price comparison | One link leads to one partner shop | No, one link leads to one shop | Only if you add several links yourself | No, Amazon only |
| How you earn | Depending on the shop: per click (CPC), per sale (CPA) or both. So at some shops a click earns you money even without a sale | Per sale; according to LTK usually 10 to 25% commission | Per click; no sales commission according to its terms | Depends on the programme, usually per sale | Only through affiliate links you add yourself; according to Linktree, Linktree Shops is available in the US only | Commission on purchases at Amazon |
| Joining networks | Not needed, one account is enough | Not needed, one account is enough | Not needed, one account is enough | Separately for every network or programme | Separately for every network, if you want to earn | One account, but for Amazon only |
| Billing and payout | A self-billing credit note every month, so you never write an invoice. Small businesses (Kleinunternehmer) in Germany get one too, and so do creators abroad (in other EU countries with a VAT ID). Paid out via PayPal or bank transfer | Weekly payouts via LTK; LTK’s FAQ does not mention credit notes | Bank transfer from €25 on request; credit note only for VAT-registered business accounts with a German VAT ID | Separate per network or programme | Separate per network | Through Amazon |
| Cost for creators | Free | Free | Free | Usually free | Free or subscription, depending on the tool | Usually free |
| Your own agency | Your agency can work on your storefront with you: it has its own dashboard, maintains products and profile with you and sees your numbers | According to its FAQ, accepted creators get access to a personal manager from LTK itself. That is not your own agency; access for your agency is not mentioned | According to its terms only the creator may use the account, so your agency cannot work in it | You organise the split yourself | You organise the split yourself | You organise the split yourself |

Which option is right for you?
LTK
Good if you show fashion, beauty or interiors, already have a sizeable community and mainly want to earn on sales. In Germany LTK requires at least 5,000 followers. Your posts and products appear in your LTK shop and in the LTK app; you can link products from the roughly 7,000 retailers on LTK. You are paid per sale, not per click. According to its FAQ, accepted creators get access to a personal manager from LTK itself; that has nothing to do with your own agency. If you have fewer than 5,000 followers or want to earn on more than just sales, wyrld is the better fit: there is no minimum follower count, and some shops pay for the click.
Stylink
Good if you want to start without a minimum reach and be paid for clicks. You create recommendation links to more than 1,100 partner shops and can collect them in “Stylist”, a profile page with link collections. Each link leads to one partner shop, and according to its terms you do not earn on sales. If you also want to earn on sales or show your community prices from several shops side by side, wyrld is the better fit.
Individual affiliate links
Good if you recommend only a few products from a few shops and are happy to handle sign-ups, links and statements yourself. Every additional network adds another account, another payout and another statement. If you recommend from many shops, wyrld is the better fit: one account instead of a sign-up with every network, and one credit note a month instead of separate statements.
Link-in-bio page
Good for collecting your channels, dates and collaborations in one place. You can only earn with links you set up as affiliate links yourself. The page itself usually pays nothing. Linktree does have a shop with commission, Linktree Shops, but according to Linktree it is available in the US only. You can combine both: your product recommendations go into your wyrld storefront, and you add the storefront as one of the links on your link-in-bio page.
Amazon storefront
Good if nearly all your recommendations are available on Amazon. You cannot show products from other shops, such as fashion labels, beauty retailers or small brands, and your community only sees the Amazon price. If you also recommend products from other shops, wyrld is the better fit: Amazon is one of more than 90,000 partner shops on wyrld.
If you have your own agency
On most routes everything runs through your account, and your agency has no access of its own. On wyrld it has its own dashboard, opens your storefront from there, maintains products and profile together with you and sees your numbers. If you agree a commission share, wyrld deducts it from your earnings in the monthly settlement, and your agency receives its own credit note.
Creator storefront on wyrld
Good if you recommend from many shops and want everything in one place: you paste a product link, wyrld looks for the same product across more than 90,000 partner shops, creates an affiliate link for every offer it finds and shows your community the prices side by side. Depending on the shop, you earn per click, per sale or both. LTK and Amazon pay on sales, according to their own pages, and Stylink pays for clicks only, according to its terms. wyrld has both: shops that pay for the click and shops that pay commission on the sale. You receive a credit note once a month, even as a small business (Kleinunternehmer), and wyrld is free for you.

Frequently asked questions.
What is the difference between a creator storefront and a link-in-bio page?
A link-in-bio page is a list of links; you usually only earn if you add affiliate links yourself. A creator storefront on wyrld shows your products with images, prices and the offers wyrld finds in its partner shops. wyrld creates the affiliate links for you, and you are paid once a month by self-billing credit note.
What is the difference between wyrld and Linktree?
Linktree is a link-in-bio page, a list of your links. Commission on products is available there through Linktree Shops, which according to Linktree is so far only open to users based in the US. Outside the US you earn on product recommendations on your Linktree page through affiliate links you add yourself. On wyrld you get your own storefront in Germany too, with products from more than 90,000 partner shops and price comparison, and depending on the shop you earn per click, per sale or both. The two work together: add your wyrld storefront as one of the links on your Linktree page.
Why not just use affiliate links directly from a network?
You can, but you sign up with every network or shop separately, maintain the links yourself and get separate statements. On wyrld it all runs through one account with one monthly credit note.
What is the difference between wyrld and LTK?
On LTK you earn per sale on products from the roughly 7,000 retailers on LTK, and in Germany you need at least 5,000 followers. wyrld has no minimum follower count; you show products from more than 90,000 shops and, depending on the shop, earn per click, per sale or both. Your community sees the offers found, with prices side by side. Management works differently too: on LTK, according to its FAQ, you get access to a personal manager from LTK itself. On wyrld your own agency can work on your storefront with you and sees your numbers. Both are free for creators.
What is the difference between wyrld and Stylink?
According to its terms of service, Stylink pays for clicks only. You create recommendation links to more than 1,100 partner shops there and can collect them in “Stylist”, a profile page with link collections; each link leads to one shop. In your storefront your community sees the offers found, with prices side by side. Both are free for creators.
What is the difference between wyrld and the Amazon Influencer Program?
According to Amazon, the Influencer Program is an extension of the Amazon Associates programme. It gives you your own storefront on Amazon where you recommend Amazon products. Amazon reviews your Associates application only after you have made at least three sales within the first 180 days. On wyrld, Amazon is one of more than 90,000 partner shops. Depending on the shop you earn per click, per sale or both, and if wyrld finds the same product in other partner shops, your community sees their prices next to Amazon’s.
What is an alternative to LTK in Germany?

Can my agency work on my storefront with me on wyrld?
Yes. Your agency gets its own dashboard, opens your storefront from there and maintains products and profile together with you. It also sees your numbers. If you agree a commission share, wyrld deducts it from your earnings in the monthly settlement, and your agency receives its own credit note for it.
Do I get a credit note on wyrld even without a VAT ID?
In Germany, yes: wyrld settles with every creator monthly by credit note, including Kleinunternehmer without a VAT ID. Only creators and companies in other EU countries need a VAT ID.
