What Beacons is and what it does

Beacons describes itself as an all-in-one platform for creators. It is run by Beacons AI Inc. from San Francisco. According to its terms, Beacons offers its services from the United States, and the terms are governed by the law of the US state of Delaware. Plans are priced in US dollars (checked by us on 21 October 2026). These are the building blocks Beacons lists on its pricing page and in its help centre:

  • Link in bio: a page with unlimited links, your own colours, fonts and sub-pages, plus a desktop website.
  • A media kit that, according to Beacons, updates daily with figures from your connected accounts, plus invoices and a rate calculator for brand deals.
  • Store: sell your own digital products such as e-books, templates or music files, as well as appointments. According to the pricing page, courses with video hosting and memberships start from Creator Plus; the Free and Creator plans include one course without video hosting. Payments run through connected payment processors such as Stripe.
  • Email marketing with a sign-up form on your page, and Smart Reply, which sends automatic Instagram DMs triggered by keywords.
  • Affiliate links to products from brands, more than 12,000 of them according to the pricing page.
  • AI features with the assistant Beam, with a different number of daily credits depending on the plan.

What Beacons costs: plans, fees and a worked example

PlanPrice on the pricing pageFee on sales and affiliate commission
Free$09%
Creator$10 a month or $100 a year9%
Creator Plus$30 a month or $300 a year0%
Creator Max$100 a month or $1,000 a year0%

According to the pricing page, Beacons takes the 9% fee on the Free and Creator plans from sales of your own products and from affiliate commission. From Creator Plus, the pricing page says you keep 100% of affiliate link commissions. On sales of your own products, payment processor fees apply on every plan: according to Beacons’ help centre, 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction with Stripe; other payment processors charge their own rates. Stripe’s own pricing page for Germany lists other rates, such as 1.5% + €0.25 for standard EEA cards; what you actually pay depends on country and card. The help centre still lists Creator Max at $90 a month or $900 a year (article dated 14 November 2025), while the pricing page shows $100 and $1,000.

A simplified worked example, for illustration: your affiliate links earn $200 in commission a month on the Free plan. According to the pricing page, Beacons keeps 9%, so $18. Creator Plus costs $30 a month and lets you keep the full commission. Compared with the Free plan, that only pays off from around $333 in commission a month ($30 divided by 9%), or from around $278 with annual billing ($300, so $25 a month). Sales of your own products count towards this, because the Free plan takes 9% of them too: on a $10 template, Beacons keeps $0.90 and Stripe, according to Beacons, 2.9% + $0.30, so $0.59, leaving you $8.51.

How affiliate links work on Beacons

Beacons calls this section “Branded Affiliate”. This is how its help centre describes it, read on 21 October 2026:

  • Adding a product: under “My Affiliate Products” you paste a product’s address, or you pick a brand under “Browse Brands”. Beacons creates the affiliate link with the image, name and commission rate. On a computer you can also use a bookmark (“Quick Add”), and on a phone the share menu of the Beacons app.
  • “Browse Brands” shows which brands are supported. According to the help centre, you can import affiliate links from LTK and ShopMy into an affiliate block on your page.
  • The brand sets the commission rate. It can differ by brand and campaign and can change at any time.
  • The help centre describes the timing of payouts differently. According to a help article from September 2026 and one from June 2025, affiliate commissions can be cashed out straight after the sale. An article from May 2025, on the other hand, describes a “Pending” status, typically for 30 to 90 days, while the brand waits for its returns and cancellation window; only once a commission shows as “Locked” can you cash it out. The “Affiliate Sales” tab shows the status of your commissions.
  • According to the help centre, affiliate commissions are paid out only through one specific payment service that you link to your Beacons account. After you cash out, the help centre says it typically takes 5 to 7 business days for the money to arrive.
  • Before a payout, Beacons automatically checks that your page has at least one active social media link, that your Beacons address is in your bio and that the product is visible on your page. If any of this is missing, the payout is held.

Alternatives to Beacons if you recommend products

The details on the other providers come from their own pages, read on 21 October 2026. The right option depends on what you mainly do, selling your own products or recommending products from other shops, and on how you want to be paid. What a store subscription such as Stan costs, and how much has to sell through your links before it pays for itself, is worked out on the Stan Store page:

  • wyrld suits you if you recommend products from other shops and want to do as little of that by hand as possible. You paste the product link, wyrld looks for the same item across more than 90,000 partner shops and creates the affiliate link for each offer found. Your community sees the offers side by side with prices, and you are paid per click, per sale or both depending on the shop, with a credit note in euros every month. Your agency can work with you from its own dashboard, and because the creator terms do not require exclusivity, you can use wyrld on top of programmes you are already in. You add your wyrld storefront as a link on your Beacons page.
  • Beacons suits you if you mainly sell your own digital products, courses, memberships or appointments and want your link in bio, media kit and email list in one place. For affiliate links, the pricing page mentions more than 12,000 brands.
  • LTK suits you if you mainly want to earn on sales; according to its German FAQ, you apply to join, LTK states at least 5,000 followers for this, and brands typically pay 10 to 25% commission. According to Beacons’ help centre, you can import LTK links into your Beacons page, so the two do not rule each other out.
  • Stylink suits you if, unlike in Beacons’ affiliate section, you want to be paid per genuine click; according to its terms, registration requires at least 1,000 followers on Instagram or TikTok.
  • Linktree suits you if you mainly need a page of links. According to Linktree, you can sell digital products, courses and bookings from Germany too, digital products on the Pro or Premium plan; commission through Linktree Shops is only available in the United States.
